I’m currently working on why Club Troppo suddenly requires much higher CPU power than it ought to. Luckily our hosting plan is “burstable”, meaning we can steal unused CPU time from other sites on the same box. However it’s still running much slower (up from 3-4 seconds to 16-18 seconds) than I’d like. I’ve gathered a bunch of profiling data and once I’ve downloaded it from the server I should be able to sniff out the problem. Until then, please bear with us!

Update: I’ve turned off one caching mechanism which seemed to be misbehaving. It seems to have sped things up a bit.
