I spend a little time peaking around the Australian blogosphere. If I had a contact name and a weekly deadline, I could send a few suggestions.

Apparently sport is so boring in this wasteland period between winter and summer ......We probably should put TSS on hold until some real sport actually starts happening again.

Well actually the A-League is in full swing. Isn't world football a 'real sport'? ;)

OK I will attempt now a 'Missing Link' biased to my favourite sport!

The big news this week was the announcement of a National Football Development Plan. The Football Tragic dissects the implication of the plan hereand here.

Football fans were excited that finally after years of being proposed the plan includes the provision of a Youth League. Hamish from Brisbane comments on this aspect in his blog Football Down Under and Beyond.

Melbourne Victory may be going through a rough patch on the pitch. But the relations between the Club, the Police and Telstra Dome management on one side, and the active fans on the other is at rock bottom. after confusion and unsavoury actions from security and police last Friday.

There's still four rounds of the V8 Supercar Championship to go. Much more enthralling than football.
