So James and I have just finished the third round of work on the troppo server to stop it going down. The original goal was to make the server more stable in future scenarios, which is why the past few days have been so frustrating. In any case, I remembered an xkcd comic which summed up our experiences so far.

Posted on 19-Dec-07 at 11:32 pm | PermalinkI just realised I haven’t visited here for a while as I come to all blogs via Bloglines where the latest feed is shown as Dec 14. I deleted Club Troppo and then added it again but still nothing newer than Dec 14.

I’m not sure why that would happen. The feed looks fine to me. I’ve added Bloglines to our list of ping sites — let me know if it comes back on the next story.

Bloglines is still not getting updates from your feeds (not since Dec 17).
The ‘A seriously cool way to multiply ‘ thread didn’t show up.

So it must be a problem with Bloglines.
