The server died on Sunday afternoon after automatically rebooting twice on Saturday. We think that overheating may be the cause:

But it’s difficult to say for certain. If it is overheating then we are in for a few rocky months.

Posted on 20-Oct-08 at 9:03 am | PermalinkMy system in the machine room is also highly heat-sensitive, so I will try and keep an eye on things as well (although I’m away over Christmas). If I have some spare time, I’ll try and add a second air conditioner to the room in the next few days.
