It’s hard to believe these people continue to have any credibility. Even my father, a dyed-in-the-wool Republican from way back, only ever saw them as clowns. You’d have to be a serious Ayn Rand-er to take them at all seriously. They are lying, bigoted creeps, who clearly believe the “conservativism” isn’t so much a matter of maintenance as it is of rolling back society to feudal standards.

Why the surprise!
The old political adage applies “In defeat malice, in victory revenge!” No honeymoons, no kumbayah moments. Like that Christmas truce in 1914, an hour of wishing things were different, toasting each other and then back into the trenches. Though in America it is way too toxic. Even Sydney shock jocks would have a hard time keeping up.

These guys have a lot of adverts to sell and need to hang on to their listeners, so this kind of baloney will go down well. Limbaugh was one of the first ‘merican voices I heard on the radio. He was syndicated for his lunchtime rant which we were forced to listen to at my work site in Colorado. I hated the way he talked and cringed at some of the things he said. Obviously not much has changed since then except they now have an evil left wing, revolutionary…obammunist administration to rail against.
