I'd like to take this as an opportunity that the universal law of the internet is DON'T FEED THE TROLLS. Since nobody can agree, in practice, on who is behaving trollishly, we here at Troppo try to adopt the convention that everyone will remain civil. We try to keep an eye on things, with a thoughtful but firm hand, to this end. Now I have other demands on my time and interest, as do <em>inter alia</em> Ken and Nick. However the babysitting has fallen to me lately and quite frankly it is tedious and wasteful of my time. My patience has worn out. Any remarks brought to my attention, or that I notice myself, which are in any way defamatory or in any way likely to provoke a pointless shitfight will be deleted immediately. Any person who does this on any thread will be placed in the moderation bin. No appeals will be entered into. Calm. The Hell. Down. Please. Love, Your Friendly Local Oppressor.
