Down but not out

I see Scott Wickstein has announced the resurrection of Troppo Armadillo. It might have been better to wait until there was something resembling actual readable content, but que sera sera. Many thanks to Scott for granting a protection visa to this cyberspace asylum seeker, and for putting in the “hard yards” in creating the blog and tweaking code etc. BTW That process is ongoing, so bear with us.

We still haven’t been able to retrieve the existing TA files from Mark Gallagher’s web host, but Mark tells me he hasn’t given up hope yet. If that proves impossible, we may be able to re-post at least some items from various other sources. I’m also intending to re-post some old (pre-TA) posts to give you something to read while Geoff and I (and maybe others) write new stuff.

Finally, for those who hated the recent black and grey template, I have a disappointment in store. I’ll be re-instating it as soon as I can find out how to access the default stylesheet templates in Scott’s MT Help pages.

Note to Scott: Remove the calendar dude. Nothing will bog down your server faster than that fucking calendar. If you need any template help, you know where I am dude.

This rapid recovery spells out something authentically very supportive about this medium. I for one thought Troppo was well and truly out the window. Well done folks.
