Methinks the caption attaching to this picture a clear case of deliberate factual fabrication. Clearly, Suzy has just caught the book … which has fallen from the shelf, and has already bounced off Ken’s head once (note Ken holding place of earlier impact) … thus saving Ken further injury, which is why both parties are smiling … Ken in slightly embarrassed gratitude and Suzy from pride of dexterity. In short, there is no Darwin History-Wars. This is pure centrist myth making, ideologically inspired in misconceived imitation of Eastern States History Wars … I won’t believe the allegation unless someone can show me an unequivocal writing down of the attack by a Christian government official eye-witness.

cs,

Your theory on the books trajectory is about as credible as the magic bullet theory of the kennedy assassination. The book clearly came from the grassy knoll (out of shot to the left of the picture).

Obviously I’m in the middle of suffering multiple blows from a blunt object/argument, the standard tactic of all participants in the history wars, while habitually claiming the purest truth-seeking motives for getting down and dirty. In this case, the smiles of both protagonists connote that we troppo types are more your languid, playful zen history warriors than the take-no-prisoners variety more commonly seen in southern climes and blog comment boxes.

Well, I still reckon Suzy was a patsy. It’s obvious that Woodsy is the real attacker, however much Warren Commission style whitewash you try to paint over it, the truth will emerge.

Gummo,

You’re clearly the Jim Garrison of this saga, blaming the CIA to cover up the fact that it was really the Mafia. Or was it vice versa?

The list is long and crazy: Oswald, who worked for either Castro, the mob, Jimmy Hoffa, the CIA, his dominatrix landlady or J. Edgar Hoover. Hunter S Thompson speculates that maybe Marilyn Munroe’s first husband fired those shots from grassy knoll … before admitting to feeling so guilty about not being able to explain the biggest news story of his lifetime to his son that he confessed (“I tried to keep my voice low, but emotion made it difficult”) to doing it himself (“Now we can finally be honest with each other. I feel naked and clean for the first time in 30 years”). I fine role model. So, now what’s the truth here between you, Suzy and that book Ken?

Maybe the hidden agenda here is that Ken is Suzy’s literary agent and she’s hitting him on the head with it and saying “My book better sell more then this bozo…”

Does this mean Windschuttle’s going to go “back, and to the left”?

Ken looks like he was enjoying that far too much.

It looks like you have a fine collection of pots? Predominantly in earthen shades. What is with that?
