It wasn’t on the Road to Damascus – and he isn’t St Paul – but colourful C-Filer Jack Strocchi has had a revelatory moment of truth about Iraq. It’s an entertaining read and a rare and gracious moment of blogospherical concession.

Thanks Geoff.
Yes, the scales have fallen from my eyes. I will now be mounting a massive charm offensive on those parts of the blogosphere that I have gratuitously insulted since I embarked upon this foolish crusade.
Has someone stolen Jack’s identity? I reckon the actual man is probably bushwalking somewhere in Africa, out of reach of computers and some heinous identity crook is taking advantage of his absence. Well if the Left can have their conspiracy theories why can’t I?
Jack….”a massive charm offensive?” Sounds terrifying.
Part of the charm of blogosphere is the ability of commentators to say they were wrong.
Jack may have been wrong from the beginning but his articles were always interesting and thoughtful as is the present one.
I hope this trend continues.
Will it permeate the media?
I’m never wrong, but I’m frequently well ahead of my time with my brilliance unappreciated by anyone but myself.
Ken – Margo thought you were the bees knees on Champerty, (still think it sounds like a starter in the Caulfield Cup….)
