Permalinked comments

After persistent shaming by Mark Gallagher, I’ve finally gotten around to implementing some code he supplied that creates permalinks at the foot of all comment box contributions. People will now be able to create hyperlinks directly to specific comments published on Troppo Armadillo, which should be useful given the number of truly incisive comments we regularly attract (along with our fair share of extraordinarily silly ones).

About Ken Parish

Ken Parish is a legal academic, with research areas in public law (constitutional and administrative law), civil procedure and teaching & learning theory and practice. He has been a legal academic for almost 20 years. Before that he ran a legal practice in Darwin for 15 years and was a Member of the NT Legislative Assembly for almost 4 years in the early 1990s.

There’s always one smartarse in every group, and I should have guessed who it would be. Actually it probably would have been Gummo or Dave Ricardo if they’d read the post first.

Excellent idea. Aside from the idiot element, the coding has potentials for us all.
