There’s something profoundly Australian about an heroic, one-eyed Kangaroo named Lulu rescuing her owner. She may well be suffering under the misapprehension that she’s actually a Blue Heeler – she may even bark like a dog – but never mind. We know, deep down, that she represents the best that antipodean marsupials can aspire to.
The RSPCA want Lulu to get a bravery award. I think she should be looking at the Order of Australia and a guest slot on Andrew Denton, at the very least!
Yeah. Lulu is clearly a Top Aussie.
Indeed.
Maybe when Lulu appears on Andrew Denton we can hear her views on the mining industry. My bet is that they are very similar to those expressed by Toni Collette on Adrew Denton last night. Being an member of Australia’s wildlife, and one eyed to boot, Lulu would have a good reason not to be convinced by arguements outlining the benefits to Australian society of the open cut iron ore mine in the Pilbara. It has done a lot, but not a great deal for kangaroos, RWDB that I am will concede this.
Toni, on the other paw…
Geoff, you are jumping to conclusions
Very good Homer!
