Hassling fellow armadillos

Being currently much more focussed on pleasures of the flesh than those of the mind, the prospect of my producing a fertile stream of blog posts in the immediate future is fairly remote. In the circumstances, I can’t help wondering aloud what’s happened to my fellow Armadillos. Geoff and Wendy both materialised briefly a week or so ago with his and hers “why I’m not blogging” posts. But neither has put in an appearance since then, even though Geoff’s excuse (writing a submission on the Free Trade Agreement) seems to have expired, and Wendy said she’d sent her novel off to the publishers. Well … ??

As for Wayne Wood, I thought he must have developed a rare South American disease involving paralysis of the typing fingers, until I received an email from him earlier today. There’s lots of stuff happening in the share and financial markets worth blogging about, not least the shenannigans at National Australia Bank (for which Wayne used to work if I remember rightly). A post is well overdue methinks.

My brief has taken a bit longer than anticipated, but it’s now completed. I’ll blog tomorrow prior to disappearing off to an IT-free zone on the south coast for Easter.

An eery silence, indeed, David. Even the Professor hasn’t been heard of since 27 March.

Looks like it’s back to the print media. Err, on second thoughts…
