I’ve been keeping an eye on the nominations for the 2005 Australian Blog Awards. Good thing too. Courtesy of one of the nominations for Troppo (thanks everyone!), I discovered a fellow Brisvegas Blogger, Observant Little…, and one with good music taste and a shared fondness for hanging out at Ric’s Bar in the Valley. It looks like OLS is well worth reading, and I look forward to dipping into the archives of her blog. She’s also given some of her reasons for nominating particular blogs. Troppo readers are most welcome to follow suit on this thread…

This is for all those Darwin troppo people who can’t get broadband ADSL.

Yeah, where is that Ken fella? Hopefully enjoying his new pool by now if not his broadband connection!
I nominated the blogs I liked – simple! Reasons can be found on my blog. I draw a distinction between those blogs which appeal to me, personally, and those which I think, have a better quality. The two things are related, but not the same.
For instance: I nominated Checkout Chicks – http://checkoutchicks.blogspot.com – because of the humour and attitude, and the catchy use of graphics. (Also because they linked me!)
