The number of right-wing blogs I read has just dropped from one to none. Sadly for the blogosphere, The Currency Lad is taking a blogging hiatus to work on finishing a book and a new research project. We’ll miss you, C.L., you were always worth reading – a fine writer, very funny, and invariably provocative. Best of luck with your projects and hopefully you’ll return to blogging.
Mark – So you comment at Catallaxy without reading it first?:)
Andrew, I’m going by the Troppo (copyright) official faux-centrist characterisation of Catallaxy as centrist. Or was that “mostly centrist” – where’s Ken when we need him?
Just checked, Andrew. The Troppo blogroll classifies Catallaxy as “moderate right”.
Dammit, watching “The Corporation” on SBS tonight was fun mostly thinking about what he’d say about it.
I must be getting old. Took me a while to work out what that one was about.
Shurely Andrew would admit that Catallyxy is not consistently right wing?
I guess Andrew’s bit is right-wing Liberal, Jason has been accused of holding all sorts of political ideologies (according to Jason), and when Jack Strocchi blogs over there it’s well, postmodern.
Come on Mark. You should read Tim Blair. He hits far more then he misses. And you should read Professor Bunyip coz he’s the funniest academic ever.
And you should read me coz I host everything. I dont care if you dont like cricket, you should bloody read it anyway.
I read you when you write over here, Scott! I was interested in the for and against Warney argument in the SMH yesterday so maybe my interest in cricket is reviving…
Currency Lad was good.
Have to have a look at Professor Bunyip. A “funny academic”. Is that funny ha ha or funny as in totally nuts?
Blair is good, Evil is good, indeed as I have been accused of having too many right-wing boys on my blogroll, I would say they are all bloody good.
A wry academic is plausible, Darlene, a funny academic is probably nutsoid. I guess I should check these sites out. Connoisseurs of RW blogs (note absence of “DB”) – are any of them as good as CL?
Do they hate Sweden as much as EP? (Ah, BackPages memories…)
