Scott has just deleted an Anzac Day post he’d written. I don’t know why, perhaps it was written when tired and emotional early in the morning. But his judgment that it was unworthy of publication is just plain wrong. It was one of the most evocative pieces I’d read in a long time about the contemporary Australian experience of Anzac, and the diverse histories and family backgrounds that make it up. Please put your post back, Scott.
I second that emotion.
I was very drunk. And, I don’t know how to put it back up! Once they are deleted they are gone!
I was very tired and emotional (and now I’m very tired and hungover). Don’t drink and blog!
Heh, I was able to read it after clicking through from Bloglines. I hadn’t realised it was deleted, nor had I realised this post was up.
I tried to post this comment “And the million dollar question is… how much Bundy had Scott consumed before belting that out at 5:30 this morning?” which now seems I was right on the money.
Do I win anything?
Well, chug some Berocca and rewrite it, ya bastard.
Oh and you can put it back. Thanks to my “back” button on my browser, I have copied and pasted the post. I’ll email it to you. Gee I’m nice today.
Don’t let it become a habit, Caz. Niceness and your blog just don’t mix.
Hey, I’m about to bake freakin BISCUITS for The Hack . I’m blaming the hormones.
Okay the post is back.
Caz is only nice to me coz I have an even bigger capacity for drunken nastiness then she has. She’s seen me on the turps too. Her link to my old site says ‘Here be ye South Oz Pisshead’.
I don’t drink that often, but when I do..ugh berocca!
and I thought it was my comment!
