Writers should keep it short and get to the point, says Julia Baird. Text messaging shows that the Sesame Street generation and generation Y get this.
That’s the gist of Julia Baird’s latestGood Weekend column — ‘Brief Encounters’. What a pity there was so much space on the page left to fill. Julia was forced to tell a 4 paragraph story about a friend who painted his dog’s toenails before getting the vet to put it down, quote a Judith Wright poem, drop a reference to Cyrano de Bergerac and refer to a Washington Post story which referenced a study by Tegic Communications.
Indeed! they should have filled that space with more pictures of her instead.
What Jason said.
In my dreams an encounter with Julia would last much longer than 10 seconds :)
I agree.
more pictures of Bairdy and a lot less words.
No lustful thoughts allowed however
you’re demanding the impossible, Homer! that’s why you lot aren’t going to be saving my soul …
Jason,
Enjoy her her just for the beauty.
Not to mention about what your girlfriend would think of your thoughts.
Everyone is savable!
U R so right. Sheez hot.
Shes a skinny bit of a hack and it would serve you right if she took you “merchant bankers” home to meet dad and get the 3 rd degree and invited you to kneel down and pray with him after the meal
