I picked up The Age A2 supplement grabbing some lunch earlier today and read this sweet story.
It’s nothing that special but I liked its blend of surprise and ordinariness.
It’s about George Harrison’s Mum and the daughter of a Mills and Boon author!
It’s Troppo category is ‘life’.

They are indeed. As I read them, I tear managed to dislodge itself from my eyes and make a (successful) bid for freedom.
A Fab story. I hope she ended up doing some other writing, she has told that story too well not to have had a go at other things.
I spent Saturday morning finishing each paragraph and saying to my wife, “listen to this”…I ended up reading her the whole piece allowed.
Well blogged, Nic
