   Geoff...you've just reminded me how i was thinking last night about how Heffernan's kamikaze attack on Kirby saved Hollingworth the first time Hollingworth was in hot water. and i was cynically thinking that Howard probably asked his good mate Heffernan to be the fall guy to take the heat off Hollingworth at the time. i wouldn't put it past him, anyway. it wasn't enough to save Hollingworth the second time the scandal erupted though.
