After persistent shaming by Mark Gallagher, I've finally gotten around to implementing some code he supplied that creates permalinks at the foot of all comment box contributions. People will now be able to create hyperlinks directly to specific comments published on Troppo Armadillo, which should be useful given the number of truly incisive comments we regularly attract (along with our fair share of extraordinarily silly ones).

    There's always one smartarse in every group, and I should have guessed who it would be. Actually it probably would have been Gummo or Dave Ricardo if they'd read the post first.
