   Just had a look at the awards, and Troppo creamed it in its category, with a Saddam Hussein-like polling performance (100%) in the Northern Territory division. Can we expect a similar result in the NT category? I don't think we need to resort to arsenic poisoning to knock off the rivals, but I'm assuming everyone knows who they have to vote for (or else). Mind you could Troppo fall under the best NT/QLD/SA/WA blog, because we have contributors from all over the place, could we be disqualified on a technicality?

   Don't know what Evil Pundit has against the Swedish, the first thing I can think of holding against them are Volvos and their dodgy Ikea furniture. But I'm a fan of the Scandanavians, there were plenty at my uni (mainly Norwegians) and they really had their shit togther. And as well as being top students (with better written English than most of the locals), they were a lot of fun to have around. They must be doing some things right in Stockholm and Oslo et al. It could have something to do with the extra-year schooling before finishing high-school, but they were all incredibly educated, which I couldn't say for many of my fellow students at the time.
