I posted on the theme of bullshit under the heading "Why is John Clarke so funny? And why now?" a while back. Just to let Troppodilians know, the author of "On Bullshit", Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at Princeton University, Harry G. Frankfurt, is being interviewed tonight on Late Night Live.

    Checking the previous piece and the reference to Garner Ted Armstrong, I think I used to listen to his late night broadcasts some decades ago, they had a strange mix of astute analysis of problems and absurd proposals to solve them. Was he the midnight broadcaster who plugged The Plain Truth? It was free so I subscribed for a while, it was a really glossy magazine with the same mix of sense and nonsense.
