I posted on the theme of bullshit under the heading "Why is John Clarke so funny? And why now?" a while back. Just to let Troppodilians know, the author of "On Bullshit", Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at Princeton University, Harry G. Frankfurt, is being interviewed tonight on Late Night Live.

I'll turn on the radio and listen to old Frankfurter if you like, but in any case I guffawed again over the Negus cartoon.
Last weeks 7.30 report was great, Clark playing Howard and Costello, Costello wanted to ride Johnny's bike. Classic!!!!

Checking the previous piece and the reference to Garner Ted Armstrong, I think I used to listen to his late night broadcasts some decades ago, they had a strange mix of astute analysis of problems and absurd proposals to solve them. Was he the midnight broadcaster who plugged The Plain Truth? It was free so I subscribed for a while, it was a really glossy magazine with the same mix of sense and nonsense.
Garner Ted Armstrong - The Plain Truth. That was it.
The very same Rafe.
He ran off with someone's wife I believe.
Funny how something drummed into one's mind at the right age never leaves. Just like the 1970 Collingwood Grand Final Team :(
