FEDERAL Opposition Leader Kim Beazley has committed a major blunder, confusing grieving TV host Rove McManus with White House strategist Karl Rove.

    I don't reckon it's all that bad. At least he didn't mistake him for this Rove.

    poor old bomber, and dementia can only be confirmed post mortum, although that may be (politically at least) closer than he thinks.

    He's making a habit of this sort of thing, but at least it keeps his name in the media. Trivial really. But the media thrives on trivia. That's why nobody takes any notice of it anymore. This episode tells us a whole lot more about the media in this country than it does about Kim Beazley. I hope it doesn't turn out too seriously for him. Labor will win the next election, of that there's no doubt. But I don't think I could bear to think of Rudd as PM. Anything but that, please!

    Yeh , I'm with Tim; Lloyd's on the right (or is that left) track... that there's a gaff... and it's pulled in some bigguns.
