I don't understand why some media mogul hasn't already snapped up the awesome Ned the Bear series for a fabulous fee. Anyway, it's our good fortune because it means you can keep publishing it here at Troppo. Thanks muchly.
I'd better watch out.
No worries, Mr Parish. Thanks for allowing Ned to play on Troppo.
We're all keeping a watchful eye on Ned.
We'll be able to say 'we knew Ned' before the bright lights.
Ken
I have to ask if you stand by your characterisation of the translated and edited chat transcript released by Andrews. It's hard to see how a document that almost certainly was copied from Haneef's computer raises any significant national security issues. Everyone, including Haneef, was aware the AFP was reading files on his computer and evidently the content of that transcript was put to Haneef at interview.
You'd have to wonder why that interview has not been released. You'd also have to wonder why a dangerous terrorist would not reformat his hard drive before fleeing the country, although I admit it's just possible the material was recovered from somewhere else.
You'd even have to wonder where the unfortuante SBS allegation came from when the chat trabscript failed to do the job.
