   On television early this morning was a nature show featuring a tree with a koala ("bear") in it. Apparently the Koala has a much smaller brain mass for its body weight than any other marsupial. An evolutionary phenomenon which aids minimising the metabolic need, which became a survival strategy since gum leaves are such a toxic diet. Between the diet and the ants in the pants, which most of us who have sat long near any gum tree might know about, the Koala's capacity to rationalise with sound reason, seems to be very accurately depicted in today's cartoon.
