Blogger Beth Hamburger at the convention reports the comments of the Ambassador to Israel

"Do we want to be more like France, Sweden, Denmark and the rest of Europe, with a hands-off policy when it comes to the Middle East, with a neutral love of life?"

Damn those Europeans.  If only they'd make up their mind whether they love life or hate it.  It's messing with my holiday plans.
