Spooky And It’s Not Even Halloween!

Brett Whiteley’s ghost haunts BackPages

In the week that a ghost fetched $65000 on Ebay, something spooky is also happening in the Australian blogosphere. It’s not quite the face of ET in a piece of breakfast cereal, or the Virgin Mary on a piece of toast, but it’s definitely something. At Chris’ place, the tomb of the expired and much missed BackPages, a ghost is stalking reminiscent bloggers.

I swear there’s a new post – a reproduction (captured above) of a painting. The post is intriguingly titled ‘Leaning on the Windowsill’. If it’s gone by the time you look, that’s even more spectral!

What could this portend? Hamlet: Speak to it, Horatio, thou art a scholar.

Don’t jump Chris! Latho isn’t worth it.

I think Chris is taunting us Mexicans with the glories of the city he now has the time to enjoy.

I found it too, sad how we went back there. I was ready to dive in with a “welcome back”. But alas, its a silent ghost who receives no feedback.

At least we know that Chris is still breathing!
