Dark matter, dark energy and black hole singularities: all solved! (Maybe)
Posted by Nicholas Gruen on Tuesday, March 28, 2006
Sometime Troppo commenter Gaby sent me this amazing article from New Scientist.
DARK energy and dark matter, two of the greatest mysteries confronting physicists, may be two sides of the same coin. A new and as yet undiscovered kind of star could explain both phenomena and, in turn, remove black holes from the lexicon of cosmology.
If only I’d thought of it?

Interesting reading. One of the theorists notes that the theory is testable against future cosmological observations. It’ll be a big shock to cosmology and astrophysics if true – and just think how much sci fi will be rendered obsolete!
