I was watching Rage while polishing off a bedtime snack and saw a video that I though was going to annoy me – but turned out to amuse me – and indeed to make me smile and feel good. And of course it’s on You Tube. The city it’s filmed in turns out to be Sydney as I realised when I saw Darling Harbour in the background. Have a watch.

Off Topic: But are we having a weekend thread?
Great post Nick. As one who did a bit of political street theatre in that vicinity in the 1970’s the spontaneity of reactions is incredibly exhilarating- in my case as much hostile as supportive. The simplicity of this plus xmas must add to its success. Wonder what he did with the 10 000 signatures (my sound has gone).
It’s Juan Mann (geddit?) the legendary Free Hugs Guy from Pitt St Mall!

Vee,
We did weekend threads for a few months. Ken predicted they wouldn’t attract much interest. For the first few they generated substantial threads and then fell away to around 3 or four comments. We can run them if you like, but I’ve not bothered. I might post a Weekend comments thread in thee weeks time when people are returning from their break and ask people if they want us to continue.
I’m easy either way.
Fair enough.
How lovely is that clip!!
